I have tried to join an actual club on the site for my handicap, and none of my local clubs come up in the search. I joined a club that was put together by an individual and it is a pending club, so I still don't have a handicap.
Any ideas? |

Start a club yourself and recruit 10 people from your area.

It will still be a pendingh club that takes 2 - 8 weeks before it is approved, won't it?
Why don't any of the courses in my area come up when I do a search? |

Why don't any of the courses in my area come up when I do a search? It sounds like you are confusing "clubs" with "courses". Stracka clubs are online groups of 10 or more people who join together to get accredited by the USGA as a club and consequently qualify to get USGA handicaps. They don't need to be associated with any particular golf course. Golf courses themselves are unlikely to form a FREE Stracka club because they can CHARGE members to arrange a USGA handicap (typically through GHIN)! |
