Ping had been manufacturing components in China for years now to keep up with the competition.
Soon we'll see unfinished good shipped from other parts of the world thn China since the cost oflaber had gone up quite a bit in the last 3 years.

Most heads of woods and shafts were made in China anyway, no matter which brand you chose.
Assembled here in the States to save shipping and tariff.

If your G-15 driver is not a counterfeit; Ping will warranty it. Call the Customer Service and they'll even send a shipping label for you to sent it back.

A new driver priced at $400 retail out of which maybe 10% is the cost for components, shipping and tariff add another 2.5%, R&D maybe 7.5%, and marketing probably is the largest chunk of the cost, as much as 15%.
