My garage is just getting too full of individual clubs and complete sets that I can no longer hit due to deterioration of skills. PGA price value guide is insulting. Maybe those prices are good for a widow to get some grocery money after her old man kicks. All suggestion will be appreciated.

You can try your local Craigslist, but other wise Ebay is gonna be your best bet. I like to take a lot of pictures and let those do the talking. I wouldn't worry about giving a condition rating such as 8 out of 0 or things like that. just a short description and a lot of clear pictures. Here is the Ebay ad of a set of Ping irons I just sold as an example.

I've sold several clubs from one driver to a whole set on Craigslist. I know you need to be careful on there, but I've never had any problems.

You might be turning a profit on that one I saw one go for like $900 a week ago.

E-Bay....I've got a set of RAM forged Irons I need to list....
Brand New Cleveland CG Gold Irons (graphite) 3 & 4 only...

If I cannot sell it on E-bay, then I'll donate to my local First Tee program...I'm looking into donating to the Wounded Warrior's Program too...EX: Killer Bee Stinger LW 60* loft...nobody will buy it E-Bay...so I'll donate and receive a tax deduction for next years tax returns.

******IMPORTANT NOTICE******

The very first thing you need to ask is whether not these clubs mean something to someone. I am very fortunate that I just didn't hock the set that my dad gave me. I've lost guitars, wives, ...well you get the picture. I have a set of Ram Tommy Bolt Lightning 500s, Wilson Ultra System 45s, and now am playing Callaway X-22s. I have built racks to display and tear over my old buddies. I probably have a dozen putter and another dozen drivers that I played many rounds with. I'm so happy that I never traded in, but rather kept my old clubs. One day you may find that it has also brought the same happiness. If that's not the case, then I don't really have a clue. The trade in joints really suck. Your best bet is to sell them yourself and use some skills. It'll likely make the difference between maybe $25 and $400 depending on your set and your ability to sell a Corsair.

Wow, I can sorta see where you're coming from. Speaking from experience? It must have been tough. Good luck though and hope you can manage to stay out for a while. Did they have bacon in the joint you were in?

not really about selling but obtaining a new set of old irons. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could obtain a new set of Titleist 804.OS irons. Or if I were to buy a new set of Titleist irons, if they would match the specs loft/ofset of the 804.OS set.

Thanks!

If you bought new Titleist irons I can pretty much guarantee the specs won't match. Most of the clubs today have stronger lofts and longer shafts than older models. I don't think you'll be able to find a new set of 804 OS irons but you could probably find a good used set on ebay.

Why not donate your older or used clubs to either junior golf or disabled soldiers? Both could use them right away and you can get a tax deduction. This way you are helping more than just yourself!
Thats a very honorable thing to do, and you get a TAX Break by doing it also.

Besides the usual eBay, Craig List.... other golf forum is a good place to sell golf equipments.

Too bad Stracka does not have a Flea Market section for members to sell or trade golf equipment.

Try FGI it's no charge.
