Off topic: Did anyone see the Pro Bowl this year? What was wrong with it and why were the fans booing? I am asking because Goodell is talking about getting rid of the game altogether since as he said:
"I really didn’t think that was the kind of football that we want to be demonstrating for our fans." |

I watched some of the 4th quarter since there was nothing else on TV and was questioning how pathetic my life is to be watching that game. The fans were booing the crap out of Cam Newton since he was playing like 1/4 of Tim Tebow. That was the only booing I saw/heard. No one was really giving 100% effort and playing more like a group of 45 year old men on Thanksgiving.

They were booing Cam Newton. He couldn't hold in the pocket and threw like crap.

The score says it all. Aaron Rodgers was very critical of his teamates after the game, saying they dogged it.

I never watch the Pro Bowl, IMO it isn't watchable. I'm all for naming an All-Pro Team, but skip the game. Football is too violent a sport to make it possible to put together an exhibition game that is anything but what we've seen. Who's going to risk a career ending injury in a game like this? We already have seen the answer year-after-year. Same thing with the NHL All-Star game.
