I have been focusing on golf more this past year than in a long time. I am currently a 5.3 and really want to get down to a scratch. I have never taken a lesson before and want to find a pro to take lessons from over the winter. Does anyone know of a good teacher in the Seattle area? My only real stipulation is that I want to take lessons where there is a grass range. I am done with hitting from mats. Totally messes with my swing. Any suggestions would be great.

Joe Carranza, I know he teaches around Carnation, Aldera area, with grass tees. http://golfwashington.com/inde../
New Castle also uses grass tees, but I don't know anyone personally there. Sumner Meadows has grass tees, but again I don't know anyone there. There must be some grass practice tee around the south Sound which I don't remember. It's great that you have the time and the resources to improve your game. Good luck on your quest. Maybe we'll play again sometime, I noticed that you play West Seattle and some other golf courses around the metro area.... |
