So the Tavistock Cup is over, what was the big deal anyway? I kind of figured it was more or less a USA versus Europe non-PGA event, Its over and I still don't really know what it is! (although I recorded the last day of it and haven't had the chance to watch it yet) Are all the players members of the respective clubs or what? Maybe I'm just ignorant, a moron or whatever, but I would gladly read what any of you post about it.

Yes, its a cup-style competition between the members of Lake Nona and Islesworth. I caught some of it too when I wasn't sleeping during the day. Nona's team was too strong, especially with the way Els, Poulter, and Rose have been playing of late. What's with posting that pic for every forum post lately?

Lake Nona and Isleworth are neighboring golf clubs that have a lot of tournament success. The format is different than the Ryder Cup and President's Cup which is a little confusing to me so I won't confuse you either by posting this confusing subject so we're not all confused. Confused yet?

I've never watched it before, then again without all the Tiger drama this winter, maybe it was never televised before?

I only saw the highlights of it on Golf Channel, but I'm just guessing that all the pros I saw are NOT members of those clubs. So how then can it be one club against another if it isn't the members. Maybe I'm wrong about the pros being members but I find it highly unlikely that they are members of the 2 clubs.

Does anyone know how that whole competition works?
