Did you happen to see what Doral did to Henrik Stenson, or what Stenson did to Doral. On the 3rd hole, Stenson, who left his raingear in his locker, undressed down to his briefs to hit his 2nd shot to the hole. The answer he gave was that "he did not want to muddy his clothes for the rest of the round". Is this an appropriate attire for a professional, should the PGA discipline him and fine him, or should be arrested for indicent exposure? You decide.

The real question (and I eagerly anticipate seeing the answer on my big-screen HDTV): Which LPGA player will do likewise?

How did it turn out? Did he get his ball out?

And did he get his golf ball out of the mud too?! ;-)

He stood in the mud, and got up and down.

ya.. like thats going to happen on the LPGA tour! i think we should have all of the ponds drained when the Lpga comes to town that the ball will sit half out of the water even if they hit it in the middle of the pond.. that would be a start!

Paula, Natalie, Michelle, Nicole and Suzann.
The LPGA numbers would go thru the roof.

Did he break any laws, I don't think so!! No part of his, shall we say manhood was exposed, so that could not be classified as indecent exposure. Did he break any PGA/USGA rules and regulations? I do not know but I do not think it was appropriate dress. I know many women might like the pic and many men might like to see LPGA players also follow suit, but I think that if there are no rules to prohibit this in Golf, that there now needs to be. I am not sure if this needed to be addressed before as I do not know if this has ever happened before.
Anyhow, that is my opinion and I am stcicking with it!!

"...so that could not be classified as indecent exposure."

Really? YOU don't consider this indecent exposure? Do you think you could walk through, and shop at, say, WallyWorld like this? Could you go to the local supermarket dressed like this? Could you go shopping for some balls and tees at Dick's?(no pun intended!)
C'mon Busdriver! Even IF you don't consider this indecent exposure, take my advice as your dear Stracka friend...DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!!! LOL!!

He could do some ab-work if he's gonna get naked on the course.LOL

If he ever goes bald, he can transplant all the hair under his navel.

So, how is this different than when Crag Stadler used a towel to keep his pants clean when he was hitting from underneath a tree, and oh yeah, he was penalized a stroke or two.

If Stenson wasn't penalized, then it appears to me that the PGA has just said that it is permissible to disrobe (even though it is technically illegal to be out in public in that manner of dress) to keep your pants clean, but you can't use a towel to keep the dirt off of your knees.

I foresee a new league appearing soon: Lingerie Professional Golfers Association ;)
