If you had to make one shot or choose a club for that shot, which one would it be? Which club can you pull out of the bag and feel confident that you're going to hit it pure, and make the shot you want?
Mine is probably my 3-hybrid (18*). It's a TaylorMade 11 Rescue with a Matrix Ozik Altus shaft. I can usually make the shot I need, either off the turf or the tee. Today, I birdied a 211 yard par-3 with the bad boy and my putter. |

Give me a 20 yard chip shot from the fairway uphill with my 60 degree and I'm confident I'll have a tap in or maybe even knock it in.

I have multiple "go to" clubs. My shot is any distance between 85 and 145 yards. Making any club between my SW and 8 iron the go to clubs.

Mine is my putter. if i'm just on or off the green I can usually lag close enough for a 2 putt.

My most consistant all around club is my 8 iron from 155 in. I frequently chip with it as well. Next would be my A wedge starting at 115. Outside of my driver and putter those are the two clubs I use the most.

80-40 yard shot with a 56* wedge. I used to be scared to death of it. Got a lil lesson bout 3 months ago with it and now it's my favorite.

Happily, I'm pretty confident with any shot inside 200 yards from the fairway, in a green side bunker or on the green. What I don't like is those iffy lies in the rough where you aren't sure how cleanly you can get the club on the ball.
Took 30+ years to get there though. Sometimes I had to learn how to play a shot, sometimes I had to get the right club, sometimes both. |

For me it would be my 58* wedge from 95 yds through the green. I have learned to hit it high, low, roll out, check, or spin back. I practice with it more than any club in my bag so I am really confident with it when I have to use it.
