From the AP:
Joey Sindelar (back), Andy Bean (family illness), Kentucky native Russ Cochran (wrist) and Blaine McCallister (family illness) also dropped out of the tournament. McCallister had replaced Fred Couples, who withdrew on Monday because of back problems. Freddy never played the tourney. Blaine was playing in his place until he had to withdraw for family. |
