This weekend doesn't appear to be starting very well for the 'top 2' players in the world. Westwood missed the cut in Qatar and Kaymer is 10 shots off the pace. He needs to finish 2nd to become the new #1.
C'mon Tiger. Make a putt and let these bums fight for 2nd. |

If Phil keeps playing well at Scottsdale, Phil go to 3rd and Tiger will drop to 4th. Wouldn't that be interesting?

I too have issues with Westwood. Not sure why...something about the way he carries himself in interviews. I am envious of his golf swing, very repetitive, which accounts for his finishes in majors.

When do these rankings matter and when don't they matter?
I thought they didn't matter. Phil, btw, will be No. 1 by the Masters the way he's rolling. |
