I have found that the best way to find out what this site will do is simple. Move the cursor over everything on the page. EVERYTHING. If it turns into a HAND, click on it. See where it goes ... what it does. There is no instructional video or manual ... so you have to explore. It's like going down a hallway with many doors. If you don't open a door, you don't know what's on the other side. So, open that door ... or in the case of this site, click on everything. Many of your questions would be answered if you would just take 30 minutes to explore the site. In my emails to Jim Douglass, I have learned a lot. I have noticed gradual changes to the site that have added things that weren't originally there. Some things may not ever come back. It's a fact of life. Things change. We can offer suggestions. It is currently a work in progress and there will be a point that it is finished. We got used to the old site ... like an old car. However, we just got a new car ... that isn't quite the same as the old car. Once we learn how to operate the new car, things will become comfortable again. Have patience ... submit support tickets when you have a question ... post comments on the Feed. And no, I don't have a financial interest in this site or the company.

Your analogy isn't complete.

We had a 2012 Honda Accord. Leather. Heated Seats. In Dash system for navigation. Large trunk for your junk. Power seats. Power door locks. The paint may have had a few scratches, the in-dash navi needed an update, but it worked for the most part.

We got a Prius without cruise control. "eco" seats that feel like burlap, manual windows, manual door locks.

Stats - fairways, GIR, # of putts, sand, up/down, none of that came with the new site. I don't care so much about drive distance or 1st putt length, but it was a nice to have. You're trying to sell me on the benefits of a crap Prius when I had a slightly older, but well functioning Accord EX-L. Most people would prefer an Accord EX-L over a Prius. Prius is generally reserved for the eco hipster with 4-5 large smelly dogs they often tote in it (with a few exceptions).

Not trying to sell you anything. Just reality. The site is changing. We can change with it and adapt ... or join a Type-1 club. Your choice.

I was a bit hasty - I couldn't find the stats entry in HBH, it was hidden in scoring settings. It's not a bad revision. I'm disappointed in the photo stream being removed, but there are lots of places and services to share photos. It wouldn't hurt to incorporate some type of ability to share instagram or other public social media photos inline in the forums.

Also - my reply wasn't directed at you, but you took it that way. But thanks for giving me two choices - that was so generous of you.
