Turns out this is my second posted discussion. My last post only got one responder. Hope I do better this time

FWIW, I put it out there back on 10/8 that if the NGT was going to be anywhere other than Myrtle Beach in the future that someone else was going to need to take over with it. It's just so simple to have it there and takes all the weight off the guy(s) that put it together. 3 months later and just a few days from Frank needing something firm so he can get his vacation time in and here we are again.

So like I said 3 months back, if nobody steps up to organize a different location themselves and have a firm plan in place by 1/15 then it's safe to assume that it will be Myrtle Beach for Fall 2019.

There's been talk of others putting something together but not a drop of info, questions, inquiry or request for thought from anyone. Talk is cheap but actions are priceless. You are what you do, not what you say you'll do.

Time is ticking away and January is on the doorstep. I'd hate to see Frank and Kelcey shut out due to lack of follow through.

I want to go somewhere new. It's my understanding that Arizona doesn't suffer from hurricanes.

I have stated if you guys want to come to AZ, I will go out of my way to see to it you guys are playing some of the best in town that you will appreciate and enjoy. As I have told Vince, September/October can still be a little warm on some days. We have Over-seed time from about September 14th through October so I would have to go through course Over-seed schedules to make sure we avoid them. They scalp the grass and stop watering at that time and it isn't great golf. In any event, there is many courses to choose from here as Jay knows. We have a few new courses that are pretty special---- Wickenburg Ranch Golf Club, Victory at Verrado, and Grand Canyon University. There is Los Caballeros Country Club (Near Wickenburg Ranch) that would be an incredible 36 hole day, Verrado Founders Course (Near the Victory Course) That would be another incredible 36 hole day, Golf Club at Estrella (Jack Nicklaus II designed)… As Jay is aware of WeKoPa is our #1 and #3 top State courses that is an option as well. One other that I believe Jay mentioned is Southern Dunes which is another gem and a lot of fun with no houses around. One other suggestion is a group TopGolf evening. We have a couple nearby. I just played at the one when I was out in Atlanta on business and as a group it was a blast. If the group wants to come this way, let me know and I will do what I can to make it a great time. It would be great to see the group in my backyard. If the plan is elsewhere? I look forward to getting together with all of you this year. Been too long.

And one last thing...golf rates in September and October are at the most reasonable for the year and the weather. Hotels as well...

Now that I'm not in Texas and unsure of where I'll be in 2019, I'm officially down with anything. Don does have a great point with Myrtle Beach, and I've never golfed there, so I'd be enthusiastic about that if it's the choice.

Just get it done soon so we don’t lose Frank and Kelcey. I like the Phoenix idea but I’ll go anywhere.

2019, Count me in. Texas, Florida, Arizona, California, New York City, etc, any where is good, Let's Go!

I will offer South Florida and plan the whole thing. Golf in Sept is the cheapest rates and great conditions. Not only can we golf during the days but night life is second to none! I have a Hard Rock Cafe casino in Hollywood. We have aft. Lauderdale beach 15 minutes away. South Beach is 2nd to none and hotels are dirt cheap.

Here’s my line up... 2 Q School sites. Jacaranda and Plantation Preserve. Crandon Park in Key Biscayne. PGA National. And I can probably get a round at Grand Oaks (formerly Rolling Hills, where Caddyshack was filmed).

You get the pleasure of me being a host, which is priceless!

That only happens when Don plans things. I don’t deal with stuff like that because I can control the weather.

Uh huh, then maybe you could do something about 95 degrees and 95% humidity everytime you want to hold it in FL which has been most people's gripe after the previous two in FL. Try not to deflect that to another subject.
