I was cleaning my driver tonite and noticed a little dimple on the underside of the head. It's not a dent just a dimple about the size of an eraser head. It's not real deep.
I have know idea how it happened. Will this make the club perform differently and is it illegal? Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

[noticed a little dimple on the underside of the head] You meant on the sold of the driver ? Could you post a photo ? Which brand is the driver ? It's a Killer Bee Yellow Jacket driver. Sold, thats the word. It would be on the sold about and inch from the hosle. I'm not sure how it happened. I'm thinking I may have bumped it while putting an iron back in the bag. I don't know when I did it. It's not severe and I'm planning on upgrading soon. I just wanted to make sure it was ok to use. It seems fine otherwise. Now I know why my brother is always screaming to put the cover back on the driver.LOL |

The sole plate of Killer Bee Yellow Hornet driver seemed to be metal. And it's not a bore through hosel.
You could have put a small dent on it by thumping the driver on the ground after a not so perfect tee shot ? A small piece of rock or even a piece of broken tee buried in the ground might be the cause of it. I don't believe the dent would make the driver non-conforming. I thought it might also be the port to put additional weight in the head ( an after market modification ). but if you only see a small dent without sign of puncture, then it's not the case. |

Thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback.
I need to get about a month out of it. I'm thinking TaylorMade Burner Driver. My brother has a friend that owns a golf shop in Florida so while I'm down I'm gonna test drive a few sticks in the swing machine thingy. Good time's. |
