Had an awful, awful day at the course today. Nothing seemed to be going right. Started with the fact that I booked a twilight tee time, but was told it's regular when I got there. Miscommunication on their part, but at that point I'm not gonna go home..
Downhill from that point on. Couldn't keep the drives straight (played back 9 with a 3 iron), hit the ball thin, hit it fat, just a complete degression from improvements i've seen over the last two months.
I'm thinking I should stop hitting rounds for a week or two, and just hit the range 3 times a week to work on fundamentals...
Any of you have days/weeks like that?

It's always good to spend time at the range.....I asked a pro golfer for the best tip he could give me and he said "play more"....how many times do you get that perfect lie on the course that you get at the range???.........that was all he said to me was "play more".............hmmmmm

completely agree with you. unforunately I only play once a week (on a weekend), as I'm part of the corporate world haha, so the 9-5 interferes with my golf addiction

I was there about a week ago I was shooting so bad that I was about to hang the clubs up. I took about 5 days off and I have been loving the way that I have been hitting the ball. Also starting your round pissed off about the twighlight time was not a good way to start. shake it off. I bet the next time you go out you will be tearing it up.

Since April, I have seriously contemplated giving up golf on 432 different occasions. Guess what? I never did, and I can't wait to get out there today. The weather is suppposed to be wonderful. It's an addiction, dude.
