Check this out. Two days ago, I got invited to join a foursome with my brother at a tournament at a California Course called Black Gold. I was too busy to get away from work so I had to decline. I just got a call from him short while ago and he told me about his first Hole in 1. I said congrats. He said thats not the good part. I won a car. A Mercedes CL 550 totally fixed up. My damn jaw dropped. Check out the picture. Hows that for luck?
Has anyone ever won anything by hitting a Hole in 1? |

I haven't made one yet. I'd take almost any car though, much less a Mercedes.

I'd be happy with a new club. Maybe even a free round of golf. Only thing I came away with from a tournament was a free goodie bag and a few trophies.

I havent hit one but I watcher a guy lip one out about 3 months ago during a tourny. If it would have dropped he would have won a Ford Focus retailing right around 27 grand. I have had two people playing in front of me hit aces. One guy cut the corner on a par 4 and aces it and another drained one from about 145. I was sitting on the tee box behind both of them when they hit but the only one I watched drop was the par 3. I think both of them got some free golf and got put in a local golf paper.

I have played in a ton of tournaments that offered cars, trips and money for hole in ones but have never seen anyone actually win anything. I still have not gotten a hole in one yet, have hit the flag stick several times and rolled the ball to within a few inches several times but not in ---yet!!

My bro is a GM for a Cadillac, Lexus, and Chevy Dealership with a wife who is a lawyer. He's doing pretty good with money. He just sold his Bently GT. That is what makes this so Ironic. Sold his Bently GT to get out of a high car payment and Wins a car that is almost as expensive for Free. The odds of that are crazy. |

DAMN! Wish I could of gotten a car!!!!! lol, I got about 150 bucks cash but I spent half of that on drinks for everyone!!!! HA HA HA No crap! By the time I got into the club house there was 20 people sitting in there waiting for a free drink! They have a Hole in One Club plaque in the clubhouse also that I'll get my name plate on there I'll be the 10th person to go onto the plaque. BUT NO MERCEDE's :(
