Tour denies it so lets see how long it takes for him to come back. If it is sooner then February 2015, then the Tour has a leg to stand on. If it is nose candy or some other form of substance usage, hopefully DJ can control his actions as one is never "cured" of an addiction but just learns to control the urges.

The tour doesn't actually deny it. They are using a deliberately provided back-door clause in the PGA Players agreement to avoid having to suspend him. He is allowed under this agreement to take a leave, if he did not opt to the voluntary leave then he would have been suspended. Kind of like if you were going to be hanged anyway but someone accidentally leaves behind a pistol with a single round in the chamber in case you don't want to be publicly hanged. |
