That's bogey golf! I read here http://www.golfblogger.com/ind../ that the average golf score remains and has been @ 100 for decades. Then again if you look a Kim Jong Il http://www.theblaze.com/blog/2../ who shot a 38 under and recorded 11 hole in ones in his first and only time ever golfing and it was on a PGA regulation golf course then ya.......................WE DO SUCK!

What's wrong with playing bogey golf? It just shows that there are a lot of average golfers here. Sure, I'd love to play par golf ... but I can't. So "par" for me is bogey golf. I get a par ... it's like a birdie ... and a birdie is like an eagle. I have to do everything right ... or get awful lucky ... to get a birdie. Suck? I don't think so.

This post was not intended to offend anyone, I myself was a bogey golfer for many years until I decided to get better at it and put some muscle behind my game, it was intended to get a laugh out of the fact that collectively all Stracka golfers on rounds posted were 24,455 strokes above par.

We're small... but we're slow!

LMAO...Its an interesting statistic. My game used to be bogey golf. I set out a goal to "just get on the green" as I could save alot of strokes with my Putting. Whether it was bump and run, the texas wedge style, or what ever, it worked. Putting was my strength. Then I began to not keep score after I started to "suck" for that round and learn to hit new shots, good or bad. I kept doing them until I could nearly perfect them. The strokes were dropping quickly and I was having more fun. Then I was very fortunate to move to a State where golf wasn't as expensive, weather was great, and I could golf until the body hurt. Results are now single digit at 2.2 hdcp and having a blast.

To it all, we all have a different look at the game in terms of pleasure, business, competitive, weekend hack or whatever it may be. To one we may "suck" to another a "golfer". Whatever it is just "suck" and have a damn good time! Suck on a beer and Stogey that is! Golf till we drop! Life is one time! I personally enjoy playing with all levels and understand I am fortunate to be able to play alot and at the level I do. Suck? You suck so go play more! LOL

That is the 2 words I say on the course more then any other words. "I SUCK". another bad shot. "I SUCK" Run the putt 5 feet by the hole or 5 feet short. "I SUCK". And have as much fun sucking at golf as I do anything hunting, fishing , and sex. LOVE THIS GAME

Well, you could look at this another way...if the average golfer is at 100 and the average stracka member is 90 then we really aren't too shabby are we!

We are better then most. And we Suck. lol

Now this is good!

Well, this means a majority of us are in the top half of golfers in the world. I remember after I broke 80 the 1st thing I typed on Google was afterwards was asking what % of golfers who ever play a round shoot in the 70's, and the number was only 5%. So since quite a few of us on here have done that, we're in the top 5% of all time. :-)

that just means half of us suck...

Harvey Penick says the average amateur golfer playing by the rules can't bust 100. 18-over ain't so bad.
