I was shopping around at Dick's Sporting Goods today and I came across a set of Nickent 6DX irons. I was surprised because to the best of my knowledge Nickent was out of business. So I talked to the sales guy and he informed me that Dick's/ Golf Galaxy bought Nickent golf and will now be selling them as their store brand. I checked out the new hybrids which come in 2 models the 6DX and the 6DT. The X has a little bigger head and a little more offset while the T has a smaller head and less offset. Both come standard with the Aldila VooDoo shaft which is awesome. Both heads are a little more round closer to the 4DX than the 5DX. I think the X hybrid was $129 and the T was $149. They also had some bags and the salesmen said 2 putters and a driver were coming soon. I have always been a fan of Nickent so this is wonderful news, hopefully the keep the quaility up but, if the 6DX hybrid is any indication the quality is as good as ever.

I got a mailer this weekend from Golf Galaxy promoting a Nickent event to get people trying them again. They had a driver on the ad so not sure if they are already out here. Its cool they are bringing it back
