I was blessed to play both Talega and Tustin Ranch in Orange County Ca.for free on my birthday this week.
Was wondering what courses you all have played on your birthdays ? |

I played a course in Lumberton, New Jersey this year on my birthday. Golden Pheasant, not a big fancy pro style course, but usually in really good condition and run by some very friendly staff. I also played a free round on Veteran's Day this year at one of the Jaworski courses near me. RiverWinds, Jaws bought it three years ago and it's been pretty much a reclamation project. A very nice layout that had been run into the ground, they've been making steady progress since the change in owners and it's back to being a first class golf course.

Almost every year our church's Men's Retreat falls on the weekend around my birthday. A bunch of us schedule a round at Boulder Creek Country Club on Friday and then go to the retreat site from there. Since they offer a free round within a week of your birthday, I play free.
On our trip in 2008 I made a hole-in-one on the #2 hole in front of five of my buds. It was the talk of the retreat. |

For the past 3 yrs I'm taking my BD round @ Timbercreek in Houston. It's always a Great time and something good always happens, like a chip in or long putt. My Bud shot his lowest round ever and I shot a good # too.
The Green fee is free but you have to pay for the cart if you rent one. |
