I set myself the goal of shooting a round in the 80s in 2009 and was starting to lose heart as my scores started creeping upwards from the mid-90s to occasionally above 100. Last weekend I was all over the place and carded a whopping 109!

Yesterday I concentrated not on hitting the bejeezus out of the ball but simply on stroking the clubhead through the space where the ball was.  It worked as I posted my best ever score of 90.  Just one more stroke to go and I'll be there...!
