IMPORTANT UPDATE! I just found out that this torunament is actually for Pine Forest Golf Club members. However, I will be at the course at 5:00 and plan on teeing off for 9 holes at 5:30. Green fee and cart is $15. Also, the owner is checking with the members to see if our members who have GHIN handicaps can join the tournament. 

 

 This is not a tournament I am sponsoring, but it's fun and cheap. It might be a great way for some of us to meet each other. It is hosted and put on by Pine Forest Golf Club in Tahitian Village in Bastrop. It is a nine hole scramble, official handicap required (bring your card). It is held every Thursday at 6:00 PM. Entry fee is only $10! Nine holes for $10 is a great deal and, if you haven't played this course, it is a beautiful course with a hill country layout.  Heck-gas money included, it runs less than $15!
