9/9/2008 12:42:06 PM self help and practice, that and the more I play the more consistent I get and believe it or not but for the mental part and the strategy part of the game playing Tiger Wood 2005 on x-box and psp helped me, it make you think about what shot to make |

8/9/2008 11:08:10 PM Ive been playing now for a year and a half now and im playing bogey golf ive never had lessons, would like to though. I do try to hit my irons at least once a day even if for only 30 min so consistant practice helps but lessons would help alot I think. |

8/9/2008 12:36:51 PM I started as a boy so am essentially self taught by observation; kids are great at imitation. Over the years I have had the odd lesson to iron out persistent faults and I've found that as equipment has evolved the golf swing and therefore my own swing has evolved in order to use it. Having said that I would encourage these days anyone, including kids, to have lessons to start with it will save a lot of time. They give a firm foundation in the fundamentals and the rest is down to practice. |

8/9/2008 12:17:45 PM I watch videos, get tips from watching the pro tourneys then I take them to the range. If they feel right and I can work them into my game I keep practicing until I feel comfortable enoughto try it on the course. I have also taken 3 lessons from a golf pro when I first started to help get my swing. |

8/9/2008 10:39:00 AM I haven't had a real lesson yet. Read books got tips from people on the course. I do want some lessons though. I still have a wicked slice on my long irons. |
