The best golf hole I have ever played was this past Sunday at the Links at Key Biscayne, in Miami Florida, the 18th hole is a par 5, 494 yards , hit my tee shot about 290 yards into the left rough, had 204 to the middle of the green with a front placement pin, I had really a very bad lie, semi buried in thick St. Augustine grass and between two tall palm trees, and another two palm trees to carry, originally got a six iron to hit, but while waiting for my cart partner to hit his second shot, reconsidered and decided to hit a 5 iron instead, the shot was a high towering five iron that ended up 1 foot of the cup for an eagle, although it was not my first eagle, it let me with a great feeling knowing that I had played the perfect shot on my approach, the drive of course was left and off the fairway, but the recovery shot was 1 foot short of perfect.
