Two sets of feet placement (illustration) below. Top set is square, while the lower set shows the right foot open. Looking for feedback in regards to below.....
I accidentally started opening up my right foot on the driving range and was hitting the ball long and straight. Then I played 18 holes and was totally focused on my right foot being opened; yes I hit the ball well and found the fairway on most holes.
Yesterday I played and never thought of my right foot; I just could not control the drive of the ball. Not until the 16 hole I thought of my right foot; actually opened it up and whack......straight down the middle and long. Next hole and the next hole....-DITTO.
It kind of look unusual when looking at the picture, but possibly this is giving me better balance for better control of my swing coming square on impact.
Any feedback?

That is critical to get back to the ball with power and good timing. is critical to get back to the ball with power and good timing. |
