8/10/2009 6:32:37 PM The results are in and we have a tie... meaning we're going to revote!! --- The two lucky finalists are... Foozlenut and Duckhunter, with each 4 votes!! --- Then we have: --- 3 votes: Peteg512, ThatsOB, Bradley894 --- 2 votes: Goynes42 --- 1 vote: Billy70, Chazmo, badgolfergreg Here are the comments: --- Duckhunter Because he helped me hang the pink lace curtains on our tee box. Plus he managed to score better than me from my tee box even though he was half paralyzed!! This is so unfair!! ;) The guy shot a +2 with a bad chicken wing.... mmmm... chicken wings... but I digress. He manned up and still gave it the Ol' college try! Well, I keep voting for PeteL. But he didn't play, so the obvious choice is Duckhunter because he played from the girls tees with half a swing. I just hope he doesn't start wearing pink pants like Poulter. You need to ask? The guy was playing one handed and from the reds, because he just wanted to play --- Foozlenut He hit 71% of the fairways Because he came soooo close and I am sure that he felt like a nut!! Another solid showing! All most had it again --- Bradley894 Because he's nuts for trying to mess with my head. This is a "most honest |

I'll vote for ThatsOB for his "Flash" impersonation. Way to move brother. anyone who can play a round in 1hr 45min deserves a vote. way too keep the pace of play moving OB --- Peteg512 He played well, I know how hard it is to play after shoulder surgery. Nice round. Solid round! A very strong showing. --- Goynes42 Played real well --- Chazmo way to play --- Badgolfergreg Because I'm a bad golfer too --- Billy70 He's always a contender. |

8/6/2009 10:56:39 AM And the results are in!!! Congrats to both kirker and harper. Kirker came in at the last minute to shoot a killer +6 gross taking the Gross division. Harper, although sweating bullets and yanking out his hair while wating for the last rounds to be posted, just survived and took the Net division with a -4 net. No need to re-cap for the pro side, as kirker won the Gross and harper took the net. summa-ma-beyotch!!! LOL Congrats boys!! See below for the overall results... 8/5/2009 3:56:51 PM Here it is. Miami Beach Country Club Tees - Blue - 6430 Par - 72 Slope - 128 Rating - 71.1 Course Handicap - 20 My Handicap - 17.5 Score - 93 What a weird round. On the front 9, I only hit one fairway and scored a 43. On the back 9 I hit ALL but one fairway and shot a 50. What it comes down to, is that I have to work on my putting. The first 3 holes could have been pars, but I missed 3 putts from 5 feet and in. That could have been a 90. Then take away the 5, 3 putts and that has me at 85. Guess what I'm working on for the next 2 weeks and nothing else? Anybody know any good drills?ay and scored a 43. On the back 9 I hit ALL but one fairway and shot a 50. 8/4/2009 10:12:38 PM Hi All. Playing 8/5/09 - Amateur Miami Beach Country Club Tees - Blue - 6430 Par - 72 Slope - 128 Rating - 71.1 Course Handicap - 20 My Handicap - 17.5 First round back from my Phoenix trip. I got used to the thin air and watching the ball jump off the club face. It seemed like an extra 20 yds. at least. Back to the humidity of S. Florida. Have to adjust for distance. Hope everyone had fun this tournament. Hit 'em straight. t used to the thin air and watching the ball jump off the club face. It seemed like an extra 20 yds. at least. Back to the humidity of S. 8/4/2009 10:28:07 AM Hey everyone - I was going to get up early on Sunday and announce that I was goign to play, and when I woke up, I had a mean scratchy feeling in my throard. I got up, and as I was getting ready, I was sneezing like there is no tomorrow and was starting to get a big headache. I went back to bed and was there pretty much all day Sunday and Monday. I'm still not feeling well, so it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to get my round in for this one :-(. Anyone got any "remedies"? ;-)s sneezing like there is no tomorrow and was starting to get a big headache. I went back to bed and was there pretty much all day Sunday and Monday.
