Seems like we're all eager to have another SFGT Pro-Am and to get a chance to redeem ourselves :) So here it is...

Tell us where you will play, when, with whom, why, how many beers you'll have, what's the secret of your success, if you'll be playing as a Pro or an Am and all those good things. You can also post your score here when you're done!

And the results are in.... Congratulations to RickAhlert and Duckhunter for lowest gross and lowest net (overall and amateur) and congratulations to Kirker for being the pro champion with both lowest gross and net results!

And the players' choice champion is... I mean, are... PowerFlexGolf and Sylla (that would be me)!! Thank you, thank you :) As you can see, many players got at least one vote!

Badgolfergreg: Because he made a courageous decision after his round. He abandonned the glamorous lives of the pros, the racing cars, the parties on the beach until dawn with golf babes, and the thick carpetting of the pros locker room. He went back to the amateurs to work on his game. Bobby Jones would be proud.

Goynes42: He is a great guy,that seems to enjoy helping others learn as much as anything.

golfdude528: Major meltdown round...10 penalties, he hit only one GIR, 4 FIR yet, when he FINALLY got a ball on the green, he made the putts with 7 one putts and no 3 putts for a total of 29 putts! But with a 13.8 handicap and a course handicap of 16, we have witnessed a meltdown of Biblical proportions! He made a whopping 103 swipes at the ball and that with 4 pars. He's bound to be curled up in the fetal position in some dark corner, sucking his thumb and whimpering, and will probably only appear in public with dark glasses and a big floppy hat covering his face. This has got to be put in the record book as the SFGT all-time melt down!
But the short answer is, I felt bad for him...

PowerFlexGolf:

• second place pro! no prizes yet this week so i vote powerflex to get something out of his nice round!
• Because lucky us - he posted a score 7 shots better 3 days after his tournament round. Would have been at the top again...hmmmm...makes you wonder.
  If I could vote myself I would - after losing 2 balls plugged in the fairway and having another stop in a rain runoff rut in a bunker it was a sad sad day. Even if those were not penalties, it was still brutal.
• Because he has cheesecake in the pro locker room

RickAhlert: he played a great round but come up just short of winning. wish my scorecard could look like that

• Phifedawg was the last one to post his score. He must of been shy

busdriver: seems like he is on the verge of really improving but no matter what he is always positive and finds the positive in everyone else

NEWS UPDATE - May 1st - And the players'choice champion is...

Both players worked really hard to gain the favour of their fellow players. Sylla was spotted distributing Canadian bacon to everyone and Shingo tried to stuff ballots into the voting box... PowerFlex put up a valliant fight, but in the end, Sylla prevailed :)
