Alright…today is Day2 of MyGolfSpy’s coverage of the 2009 PGA Show…but before we get to Day 2…what did you think of Day 1 did you have any favorites…did your boss catch you looking at “Golf Porn The PGA show is always a mix of the good and the bad…so which ones do you think will survive and which ones do you think will bomb? Most of the companies that developed the products are reading this from the sign of all the emails we got yesterday, so give them a helping hand and let them know what you thought about their new product. Just leave your comment at the end of the article.
So…on to Day 2…photos, photos and yes some more pics. If a picture is worth 1000 words then today it’s worth a million!

2/15/2009 1:33:16 PM That is just an amazing list of new things coming our way. There were some that I thought were actually pretty useful, and some that I thought were just who needs that? The ball retriever system seeof this wit us Mr Spy. Wish I had access to the show in O-Town!! I also thought that the blue and yellow ball training aid was pretty good too! Looks like it might be an effective training aid!! |

2/15/2009 1:33:16 PM That is just an amazing list of new things coming our way. There were some that I thought were actually pretty useful, and some that I thought were just who needs that? The ball retriever system seems like an unnecessary item. Am I the only one that carries an extra ball in their pocket in case I send one in the drink? Also, my golf cart has a unique little ball holder that usually holds 6 balls, 3 of mine and 3 of my partner's, who has to dig in the bag for more golf balls? The umbrella would be ripped to shreds on most of the low hanging branches on some of the golf paths down here. Wear a hat, some sunscreen or a visor!! The oversize golf ball seems like it would be a true aid for putting, looked pretty cool!! As for clothes, I think JC Penney carries a great variety of PGA Golf wear, the quick dry ones and some great looking Hagar pants and shorts for golf at much more reasonable prices that the ones I saw on there. Why didn't I think of the add in the hole? I thought the skinz for the clubs were also interesting. They would definitely add some flair and protection to the shafts. It sounds like the shrinky dinks for Easter Eggs!! Thanks for sharing all |

2/6/2009 3:53:19 PM Thanks for posting all these!! I had a look at some of these new products and here are a few random thoughts :) The "ad in the hole" is absolutely devilish. Talk about a captive audience :) What's next? Printing ads on turf, like they do at football stadiums? Can you imagine? Yikes :) The 4 yards more tee is sweet :) How can I tell if it really works for me or not? It's not like I'm always hitting my drives 205 and all of a sudden I would be hitting them 209 :) George Lucas Yardage Books: I would certainly be interested in those. At first, when I saw the name, I thought it was some kind of Star Wars product. Kind of Darth Vador giving you distances ;) Drivemate PRO: I'm not sure how it works but it looks interesting :) xt?
