Country Club

Well I managed to join a club yesterday along with Mrs Picadilly.Its been about a year since we dropped our membership at another.Just looking here for my friends opinons or even if you arent.LOL.My game has dropped 10 strokes or worst at times as the employment deal has limited my playing and practice.This club is a 9 holer but plenty of length at about 6300 for 18.Challenging to the point it eats my lunch.Against my better judgements a laid back wear Jeans blue collar no frills deal.Almost half the cost from my previous membership a 30 min drive compared to 15.Greens are well maintained all year.Both clubs fairways are same mostly cow pasture but mowed and well kept.Looking forward to playing more regular and practicing and of course each Sat the Dog fights plus the club plays another club for trophy and bragging rights often.A huge plus is you can bring a guest for free.We generally spend well over the cost of membership playing other courses.What do you think?

	bradley894 1/29/2009 10:30:23 AM i would say this was a great move! 15 min from home.. and you will play more golf. enjoy the freindships made and the club competions. good move! spending a grand a year in the clubhouse and pro shot is easy to do when they dont mandate it... i hope the place makes a great cheezburger and the beer is cold.. something tells me you two will enjoy the experiance. some of the more expensive clubs get a little stuffy.. long long time members who think they are owners can disrupt you day. have a blast!is easy to do when they dont mandate it... i hope the place makes a great cheezburger and the beer is cold.. something tells me you two will enjoy the experiance. some of the more expensive clubs get a little stuffy.. long long time members who think they are owners can disrupt you day. have a blast!

	badgolfergreg 1/28/2009 8:13:27 PM Sounds great. I've about convinced myself of doing the same thing here. There is a little 9 hole course I play often offering memberships with unlimited play. Think I'm gonna do it this year.
