I just attended a corporate team building event today and wanted to give props to the group that put it on.  It was hosted at Heron Bay Golf Club in Coral Springs, Florida (former location of the Honda Classic).  It was put on by Bill Balash Golf and the lessons were taught by Bill and his partner Jimmy Buell.  Both are PGA Pro's.  There were 12 of us in attendance (5 of us from the Fore Players (a golf club here on Stracka)).

By the way... Rick (from our club) and I won the short game contest (2 sleeves each of Nike One Platinum Balls).  I would definately recommend this type of event for any company or group looking for a great day of fun and lessons.

Bill and Jimmy's approach to teaching is a little unorthodox, but they find ways to get the points accross in a short amount of time.  They watch each and every student do each stage of the event and offer great personal tips and suggestions.  Everyone took something out of this day and will use it with their games.  New ways of thinking about power distribution and momentum that makes perfect, simple sense.  They even email you (before the event is even over) your video analysis of your swing and drills on how to make adjustments.

Again, props to Bill Balash Golf.  I hope to have the opportunity to have a day with them again soon.
