1/4/2010 5:08:03 PM Same here. An old Callaway. Hit a great drive right down the middle and when I went to unwrap myself from my pose, I felt the clubhead dangleing there. It was quite weird. Callaway replaced the club free of charge. |

5/31/2009 7:40:05 PM About a year ago, I broke a graphite shafted driver while teeing off. I hit probably the best drive I have ever hit on this particular hole and when I started to walk back to the cart, the head of the driver just fell off. The driver was a 2 year old Titleist driver that I purchased new. When I examined the club, the graphite shaft had splinters and numerous cracks going up the shaft from where the driver head had been. The golf shop where I took it to be repaired said that it is not something he sees a lot of, but sometimes a graphite shaft will "break". Too tell you the truth, it has got to be the weirest experience I've ever had in regards to golf clubs.e driver just fell off. The driver was a 2 year old Titleist driver that I purchased new.
