Hi golfers,

I've just read a French article on the website: http://www.audition-infos.org/le-danger-des-clubs-titane-article-848.html.
I would like to translate this article about the danger of titanium clubs:

Beware of titanium clubs! Specialists held in effect to warn golfers who use the latest generation of titanium clubs: they need to wear ear plugs. According to scientists, these new clubs, which can propel the ball further, would be at risk. The concern was originally raised after a golfer of 55 years complained of hearing loss to the Norfolk's hospital and Norwich University Hospital: he had the strong impression that the noise emitted when the club head hit the golf ball had affected his hearing. A quick survey revealed that titanium clubs occurring noise levels higher than steel clubs. Hence the advice of doctors against golfers: wear hearing protection on the tee.
Andrew Coltart had responded with humor: "The problem, if you wear ear plugs is that you may not hear the cry of alarm "ball" if a ball moves on you, to receive in your head and suffered of brain damage!"
