1/1/2009 8:13:00 PM since Golf Spy was correct here is the rest of the story. At the final hole, Player's second shot landed a few inches away from a stone wall. Since there was no room for a backswing, and he didn't want to waste a stroke clearing the wall, he decided to ricochet the ball off the wall. The ball bounced off the wall and hit him in the face.
