7/9/2010 8:52:57 AM i,like having someone to play up against, at the golf course.that's why you work on your game at the range or putting green. |

11/28/2009 3:51:01 PM Practice rounds by yourself is a good time to work on course management and to try different putts on a green. |

5/14/2009 5:19:16 AM I do it all the time. As a member I usually have the option to start on 1, 4 or 10. I usually hit one drive and then drop 3 or 4 from that spot and when I get to the green I chip and putt and let the group in front move on. I wait till someone starts up the fairway before moving on. It all depends how busy it is on any given day, but I will let groups play through if necessary. If I get a number of practice holes in and a friend comes along I may pair up and finish with him. Bottom line, you cannot get quality practice on the range, so figure out how to get it done on the course. Hint, find the green farthest from the clubhouse and use it for chipping, putting and sand....just hang out and let everyone play through.e group in front move on. 1/1/2009 8:06:49 PM it is difficult to play alone...you either catch up to the group in front or someone catches up to you while you are waiting...hard to say no, isn't it? |

12/19/2008 6:30:34 PM I've been pretty lucky. About 1/2 the time I get out solo, and 1/2 play with someone else. I'm pretty adaptable so don't mind and I usually end up enjoying it.. I also go out on twilites and get more solo times.solo times. |

12/18/2008 7:10:01 PM i love going to the course alone to work on my game because i find the range a little boring .so i go to the course, the thing is ,(if i am practicing well) hehe ,i get to thinking i am putting something together or i come across some folks i know pretty soon im not practicing anymore im in that competetive mode. but i think it helps more to play along with other people i catorize in the same manner as playing pool by your selfing together or i come across some folks i know pretty soon im not practicing anymore im in that competetive mode. but i think it helps more to play along with other people i catorize in the same manner as playing pool by your self |

12/17/2008 11:37:27 AM I guess I'm lucky. With my schedule the best time for me to get out is during the week in the morning. Playing as a solo is usually a sure thing. Even when a buddy or two wants to tag along, they know how I am, and respect that I need to concentrate on certain aspects of my game. how I am, and respect that I need to concentrate on certain aspects of my game. |
