REVERSE GRIPS OR OVERSIZED?

" I am working on test out the differences in Grips and possible shafts. Starting the usual book ready to look at the theories and then add to my own at the local golf store to see what the results may be. The store still owes me custom fitting and changes so why not. The rumor is grips and alter the game as much as 5-10 strokes depending on the player. In my case I hope its 10!!!"

Today I confirmed my theories and finally converted to 2008 technology. Followed the advice of many of the blogs and got fitted from swing style then match the club to the swing. Fitted for grips and rechecked again. Took all the new setup and fitting ball to the clubs. Woods yardage gain average-32 yards. Irons gain average 12 yards. Well worth the gains.

	Linxman 3/31/2009 10:56:51 PM Correction to my last post. Wilson Staff 5 wood with the new grips produced larger gains at the range. Although the Cleveland was forgiving the loss of average distance wasnt worth the look. While there they traded my ram 5 wood to a smaller cleveland and lower moi and outdrove the R5 Taylor made by 5 yards consistently. 6 yars off center.
