Played in a corporate scramble golf tournament this weekend (my son-in-laws). Of course they didn't use handicaps and the teams were stacked toward obvious winning groups. As it turned out, I was the "A" player (generally shoot mid 80's). But, new course, no course monuments or maps existent, I would have shot hi 80's / low 90's as a single player.
My shoulders just were not broad enough to carry the full round, LOL. I think we used 3 shots from the my other team members (including putts). Anyway had a good time, laughed a lot and enjoyed the day with new friends.
By the way, played at Waterchase in Ft. Worth. Course was in great shape, and very tough. Find a member to play with or dig up a course map from somewhere 1st. You'll save some balls that way.
