10/4/2008 5:17:32 PM As a teaching pro that is one of the biggest things that I look at when giving a lesson. Its so easy to diagnose swing plane and give a concrete example to people when you look at their divots. Especially when 85 % of people come over the top. |

9/14/2008 10:36:19 AM Wow never heard not taking a divot either intentionally or not.Bet you top a lot of shots.Thats the reason for the sand on your cart plus pickup turf and replace. |

9/13/2008 1:50:13 AM Dang, I take one on pretty much every single shot outside of 70 yards...is that wrong or something? I always feel like I am making the best contact if I take a divot past the ball....plus I always see the pros doing it. |

9/12/2008 7:07:13 PM I normally don't take divots but when I do, I study the direction, length, and depth. Also, I connect the details of my divot to the actual flight and spin of my ball. |
