8/28/2008 6:44:42 AM Thank you golfers for the response.I understand family and finances. My work has been off 1 work 3 this year plus health problems,so even I have had to limit my tournys.Way to late for me to go big also talentless at times. However my handicap flunuates Ive got a good as shot to bring home the trophy as the next. The opportunity to play against some up and comers, even a few whos tried Q school I hear and only the best courses.Sandbagging is not an option on this tour per the safeguards incorporated before some skeptic commits to that issue. If I can be of any advice or answer questions from a players point on the IPT Ill be happy to address them.Again thanks guys for reading and best of luck. |

8/27/2008 7:00:21 PM My brother in-law is around a 12 hdcp and only 50 years old. He and his wife both are going to retire in Dec. I just looked at the ITP website and I will bet that he may take at this when he does. The fact that thier only child is grown and that he and his wife love to travel makes this very do-able for him. Thanks for the info. |

8/27/2008 6:35:55 PM I'm a mid handicapper and would love to have the time to get to the stage where I could consider playing professionally and if I thought I was a chance of being good enough I would look at turning professional. My problem now is not enough time (young family) and financial commitments. If I was a teenager again I would put everything into my golf game as I consider it something I love, has great rewards, and is a career for life. |
