I can't hit my 3 wood off the deck consistantly. Driver off the deck, that's just showin off.

When you hit your driver off the deck, it is bad for your shaft. The driver shafts are too light and delicate that when you take divots with them, they break. I broke mine at the driving range hitting off the deck at a golf practice. I am on the golf team and three of the guys said they broke their driver shafts that way.ng off the deck at a golf practice. A friend of mine can do it and make it look easy. I've tried an screw up every time. I hate him!!!

oh yea...notice it was done in a best ball format. You have to have confidence, don't swing too hard, and you have to hit ball first, just like in a fairway bunker. Make sure you finish your turn and the ball will come off the club face a lot lower!!! Have fun with it!!!the ball will come off the club face a lot lower!!! Have fun with it!!!

i hit mine off the deck and it was disastrous it was a good lie too ,but i just couldnt do it one of my friends does it w/ minimal success.in my mind theres no shame in laying up and making birdie rather than bogey or worse ...just my opinion.but if u can pull it off go for ither than bogey or worse ...just my opinion.but if u can pull it off go for it

I have done this in the past, but I believe that it went 65 yds. not 265. I personally will not try that shot. I have a great 3 wood (Callaway X-Hot)that I can hit about 240, but anything more than that, I will just lay up to a comfortable approach distance.

Nope but I did hit it off the deck today and actually hit it really good.
