Expect nothing less than starting with the best thing we do all morning at the mid-week fellowship through golf.  We start each golf fellowship with prayer.  We have so much to be thankful for in our lives.  Willie Broadnax was the guiding voice this week.  We gave God all the praise; thanking God for furthering our opportunity to serve God in Jesus's name.  It is wonderful that we faithfully stand to-
gether.  Thank God for his grace and mercy; and may we learn to apply it toward everyone.  Amen.

Shout Outs... first, to all that participate in The Birdie Seeker's mid-week play.  You make it possible for our club's success; numbers matter!  Next, we gave our Birdie Seeker style welcome to Rudy Chavis.  Welcome to the fellowship Rudy; we hope that you felt welcomed and you had a good time.  You have already shown yourself  approved.   You've  aligned

yourself with the Birdie Seeker's core values.... be on the player list ahead of time, arrive to the course before time, you embraced praying on time, starting on time, finished round before time, and having a good time!  NOTICE, IT IS ALL ABOUT TIME!  And finally, happy birthday to all of the Birdie Seekers with a birthday in the months of January, February, and March.

We play golf as a club every Wednesday.  Our venues are open to all golfers;  just send an  email or text message to RSVP.  Include your full name, venue, your pace of play and your game entry prefer-

ence in the message.  We do not have membership dues or player fees.  Golfers may elect to enter some, none, or all competitions.  Our core values include, but are not limited too the following:
  • arriving to the course before time,
  • praying on time,
  • teeing off on time,
  • everybody completing their round and are off the course in less than 4 1/2 hours while playing tournament style golf, and
  • having fun while doing all of the above
We thank each of you maintaining our core values!

The weather was perfect and Plum Creek was in awesome condition. The 2019 Club Championship  is  rolling  along  with
the second week of points posted. The first week was cancelled due to weather conditions beyond our threshold to play Club golf.  This year's Club Championship has been condensed to a 22 week series.  View the schedule to see the the planned itinerary.  Be sure to play to earn regular season points, major venue points, closet to pin points, and even hole-in-points.

We played our regular  Birdie Seekers' format, which is multiple Flighted Average Stroke Low Net (ASLN), Blind Draw, multiple Skins, and Closest-to-Pin (CTP) games. The entire field is always automatically in the CTP; no entry fee is required for the CTP competition.  The Skins quorum was two Skins per hole this week.  You can read more about us and our format and tournament rules by clicking on the "Format & Tournament" link located top/left of this page.

The field of 25 confident golfers choose to compete as follows: 24 golfers were enrolled in the ASLN (net) competition, 22 golfers entered the Skins game, and 23 golfers were declared eligible for the Blind Draw competition. The Calcutta action this week; Gilbert Moses carried Bobby Ingram's Net and Blind Draw.

As a field we posted 19 birdies and 144 pars at Plum Creek.  The Skins D.O.A. report; the final tally was 5 were D.O.A.  They were all posted on the par 5, hole #15.

Congratulations to each of our skilled and formidable competition
prize win-ning golfers in each leaderboard category!  See the individual results on the leaderboard and Blind Draw table  on this page. ASLN prizes  were awarded to the 1st thru 3rd placed golfers in the A, B, and C flight.  The Blind Draw quorum allowed prizes for the 1st thur 4th placed teams composed of 3 golfers; "B" was the combination drawn this week at the point of validation.
