I have been looking forward to playing here for several years now and just never got around to it for one reason or another. Also because it's a little on the pricey side for my usual weekend round. I did ask to have it on this seasons V-tour list so I feel obligated to make an appearance...
My layout is based on playing the White tees - 6332 yards, Par 72 Rating 70.0 Slope 122. The Blue tees rate a tenth over par which is a bit over my head I think, the tips come in at almost 3 strokes over par!! Good luck with that!

Won't go as far as claiming it was a good round! Let's just call it an enjoyable day with some buddies on a very nice golf course and leave it at that... Started out OK and did drag a few pars out of an otherwise less than spectacular display of ball striking on my part. Back 9 got pretty squirrelly, not the first time and most likely not the last!
Started out as the first group off and took advantage of the early morning sun to get some very special photos. Lots of golden hues and dramatic shadows!! See below and enjoy. I do recommend this course as a "Play at least once" track. Although I think it might take more than once around to really get the hang of it. Lots of fairway on most holes and you are advised to use them as often as possible. All the stuff that is not fairway is pretty nasty! Big bunkers are coarse and stony, greens are quite large for the most part. Greens fees are at the lower end of the pricey spectrum, affordable but not "budget" by any stretch. Occasional deals available on Groupon or Golf Now are weekday and late afternoon for the most part. If it fits your schedule you can save some coin!
First Tee Box 6:30 'ish
2nd Green - Favorite photo of the day!
3rd Hole - Par 3 Large front to back green
Some golden hues on the 4th fairway!
Up until now, the holes have an intimate secluded look from the tee box. Here on 5 the view opens up quite a bit to a more links style look.
Another very nice look from the 6th tee. The course has lots of "Postcard" views all around.
Approach to the 7th green, lots of big bunkers all around and quite a few tucked pins to tempt you into trouble...
By mid-morning we were enjoying a really beautiful day! A few clouds to break up the heat and more great views to savor. This is starting out on the back 9!
16th Hole - Another par 3 that wanted just a little more than I had in my bag this day... (drop area on the left!)
The sight line here on 17 gives an unsettling look from the tee. Like most of the holes here there is lots of fairway available.
Probably best not to leave the approach shot short here...
The greens all carried pretty good speed and had great contour. Most were heavily cratered however! C'mon people, fix a ball mark once in awhile for Pete's sake!!
Great morning! Only 410 yards to the clubhouse from here!! Give it a try, I thought it was worth both the trip and the coin!!
