Glen Mills - White Tees
Updated: 10/13/2015 7:46:33 AM
Just a quick and dirty overview for anyone playing this weekend.
Having just played here for the first time, I have to remark that this was one of the most difficult courses I've played in quite some time. This is a very 3 dimensional layout!! Lots of contour, lots of blind shots, lots and lots of trouble. The greens are a heart attack waiting to happen!! Don't even think for a second you'll find your ball if it strays into the abundant junk. You may find a dozen balls in a five foot circle, but it's doubtful any of them are yours...
Lot's of wildlife, large and small. Spotted a beautiful Pileated Woodpecker hammering away at a dead tree trunk, first I've seen in the wild. Very scenic course, played late afternoon and the early evening colors were just spectacular!!
