A more or less complete list of local and semi-local courses I've played and some notes, photos, links, what have you.

Friendly and enjoyable 19 Hole beginners course, low prices, great for a very casual round. playable but no big deal. Was a 27 hole layout recently converted to 18 with a leftover bonus hole on the way in to the clubhouse!
Played once, enjoyed the round, a bit of a ride would play again
14th Hole is not the most forgiving par 3 on the planet. You can either hit the green or...
I've recently played a couple of very enjoyable rounds here, solid players course great conditions. Very walker friendly!!
Waste bunker across the par 5 14th fairway.
Fierce looking bunkers guarding the 10th green.
A little pricey but had a WOW factor, very nice layout, another once only play but I'd like to go back. No walking, not allowed, not possible! Bring a book to read between holes...
Photo from the 4th Tee Box, the whole course is pretty much a roller coaster ride.
Lots of great views all around the layout. This is on the 12th Tee Box.
Super par 3 hole near the end of the round, this is 17!!!
Played once, seemed pretty good, very hot day hard to remember details due to heat stroke...
Tee time 8:20 Temperature 87 deg.
Recently played for the first time. Got a great Winter rate! Very challenging course, lots of water and some par 4's that play like 4 1/2 even from the White tees. OK for walking a few hikes between holes but the worst of it is the last two and by than it doesn't much matter. Looking forward to another round here.
Played for the first time recently, good price not too far to travel, nothing earth shaking, I'll go back again
Played once early season seemed OK hard to judge that early in the year. Bit of a drive to get to and kind of out in the middle of nowhere. No BEER??? But you can bring your own! Intercom on the 8th tee box so you can order ahead and pick up at the turn, should be mandatory...
Not close, reasonable, big WOW factor. Maybe not for a club date but if you want to organize an expedition hit me up. I took lots of pictures, here are just a few of the best.
Seriously, even the parking lot for the carts is scenic...
Yes, that's a ditch running through the 3rd green!
It can get a bit breezy here!
Philly city course, decent prices. This is an old time layout from way back in the early days. Course has some history. Now it's a little tired and beat up, if you look just right you can see what it used to be. Tough walk but doable. Tough neighborhood keep your eyes open, there have been armed robberies ON THE COURSE!!!
Little pricey, played once, nice layout.
Philly city course, close by, beginners layout bit of a dog track. Shirt and shoes are required... Easy walk.
Local working man's course, conditions are hit or miss, always good prices available, couple of interesting holes. Easy walk.
Latest info I have is the course is CLOSED and FOR SALE
Private! VERY!! Played here in an outing, if you get the chance to get out here by all means do!!
Bring your 'A' game! If you don't have one bring extra balls and maybe something stronger than the soft drinks available at this treacherous layout... They will pick your pocket just a little to play here but you won't feel like you got robbed!
Another one out in God's country, thought it was worth the trip though, played once want to go back.
Local favorite, fun layout, good prices, no wow just a good play. I enjoy walking here but be aware there are some hills to contend with..
Played once, a little out of the way. Two 18 hole layouts, Presidential and Ambassador.
Real middle of the road course, solid layout, decent prices, play many time kimosabi, easy walk.
Don't pet the wildlife...
Played it... ehh, don't think much of the layout, a little quirky for my game, it has a really nice oak tree behind one of the greens on the back nine, just spectacular, only reason I'd go back.
Donald Ross design, played once, would like another round or two here. Too busy trying to keep up with this course to take many pictures. Really kept me guessing all the way around.

Kresson - no website - 298 Kresson-Gibbsboro Road (856) 435-3355
I include this course in the list because it's what I would call a good practice course. Very short, no slope or rating, lots of chip n' putt style par 3's. Great for beginners and kids, easy walk, I've seen carts used there but not often. Walk on pretty much anytime and they will get you out, very reasonable rates.
Played once, didn't notice anything special one way or the other, eyes were tearing up from the cold and wind so bad I could have missed a lot though.
First time playing this year, a bit of a ride to get to for me. Well worth the trip as the course was in great shape! Many challenging hole layouts and the greens were very slick! Aside from a few hikes between holes this is a decent walking layout.
Pricey but not disappointing, pretty solid course, played here a few times, has a lot going for it I think.
Little drive again, been here a few times, love the setup, interesting and fun. Very man made, built on an old landfill.
Played a few times now, seems like an old school setup, always enjoy the round, slightly more than I usually pay for a muni but it's a decent golf course. Absolutely worth a little extra!
Played a few times, no great shakes, basic decent golf course
Just off I-95 and just across the Delaware/Maryland border. It's actually pretty easy to get to and worth a little ride. The course had been closed for a while and reopened last year. Conditions were generally poor but greens fees were rock bottom. Great layout! Hope this season brings continued improvement, glad we didn't lose this one.
Played once, another longer trip than I'm used to for a basic layout. It was a mid-summer drought and the place was pretty baked out. playable though.
Another local course for me, I usually have a pretty good time here, it's being kept up and they make improvements every year, prices are reasonable too. Not too bad to walk, crossing the road is a pain.
Here's to Len, never met the man but good for you!
Only played once so far, accessible, affordable, the houses are not actually on the fairways... but close!!
Like the name says, it's pinelands golf, lots of flatness, sand and skinny trees right next to the fairway. Played once, enjoyed, will go back, price wasn't bad at all.
Decent muni right down the road, basic layout, no wow just good golf. Very walkable.
My home track. I have names for most of the holes, the 9th is "Will Wheaton" my mortal enemy! Curse you Will Wheaton... Challenging, fun, frustrating, very reasonable prices, bring an extra sleeve of balls. Good walking course. Dry town, bring your own.

1st Tee from left to right, OB Houses, Big Fairway Tree, Fairway, Bunkers and more Trees, OB Driving Range... And this is just LeVar Burton. Have Fun!
Little bit of a drive for a lot of golf course, great setup! Mid-range prices. They allow walking but don't bother the pathways just aren't really set up for it. Nice range and putting green, excellent after round facilities.
Lots of scenery all over the place. 14th hole, a nice short par 3.
Clubhouse from back down the first fairway.
Just looking around standing on the 5th Tee.
Heading for home on the 18th Tee.
Local favorite, quite a gem, brought back from near extinction when Jaworski took over, great round of golf. No range, putting green near the first tee, mat and net near cart pickup. Very walkable once you get to the tee box, about 1/2 mile from the pro shop. Ask and they will give you a lift to the first tee.
So yeah, 9th Tee dogleg LEFT! Lots of fun...
Very common to see turkeys all oven the place here.
Part of the course runs right along the Delaware River.
100 yards from the 18th green, it's a nice place to be if you can be there on the first try...
Played a few times now, solid course, mid-range price, some interesting holes.
One of my favorite shots, taken after the round was done from the first Tee.
3rd Hole, little bit of a carry needed here...
15th Hole, looks open just watch that little creek cutting across the fairway!
Another Jaworski course, played once, loved it would like to go back soon. Mid to pricey, not a lot of discounting to be found. Worth a little extra.
This course is a bit of a bully, it'll slap you around and take your lunch money but I keep coming back for more. No range, no water stations anywhere on the course.
Don't be too surprised if the gallery gets a little close sometimes.
Let's see, 1st Hole. Narrow fairway, short carry into the hazard, long iron to a tilted green, the pin is never in the back. No warm up hole here!
8th Tee mid range par 3, just hit the green and everything will be OK!
15th Tee another hole with some carry, and some bend, oh and lots of trouble over on the right there. Enjoy!
Not to be confused with the above course. This is a very nice beginners course. Usually in more or less good shape. Reasonable rates. Bar in club house is members only, you have to fill out a form and a week later pick up your card. Not their fault, local alcohol regs. Range & par 3 course
Another man made setup, some very imaginative holes including as elevated par three with a cart path tunnel under it. Don't even think of walking here, good prices, fun round.
All around a very attractive golf venue.
It does get backed up once in awhile, you'll understand after you play it...
Played a few rounds here, very enjoyable layout. Always in great shape, nice mix of holes. Great patio for after round relaxation!
Not one of my favorite courses, I've played there more than a few times but it's kind of a sketchy layout. Prices are OK and it's an easy walk. Good range and practice areas, separate putting and chipping greens.
Do not pay full price to play here! At least not until they clean the place up. Great course was found by me to be in questionable condition. Fortunately there are plenty of discounts to found by looking in the usual places. That said don't let me discourage you from sampling this "vintage" golf course.
Nearby and serviceable, couple of sketchy holes, decent prices. It's been a few years since I've played here, recently got out for a couple of rounds and will probably play this one more often. Very walkable with a nice afternoon rate, several holes are very tight, the par 3's will get your attention. Lots of chances to work on the ball placement game, trees and doglegs aplenty... I found one fairway which was quite patchy otherwise in very good condition all around.
High WOW factor, prices to match, watch for discounts, it's worth it. Range included in greens fee. Great amenities all around. No walking, I'll have to check the website but I think they have like 11 miles of cart paths. Carts have GPS but bring your own Blue Ray for the in-flight movie. Delaware Park race track is on the same property if you fancy a wager on the ponies!
Lovely all grass practice range, balls are included.
6th Hole, big carry off the back tees, middle tees are beyond the ravine and makes this a much shorter hole.
13th Hole, another nice tight par 3. Trouble on the right.
Another nice little pine land layout. Plenty of fun, sketchy yardages on the par 3's don't believe a thing you see on the card or the tee sign, bring a laser... Easy walk.
Old school private course played for the first time, Can't wait to go back, high end prices keep an eye out for a coupon or something. Walkable if you're up for it, bring your legs and some water.
A ways out in Chester County. Easy to find, about a half mile North of Rt.-1. Worth the drive! Very nice links layout, plush fairways lots of fun to play. Hope to get back here from time to time! Took a cart playing for the first time but it looks pretty walking friendly, a couple of short jaunts between holes as it winds through the countryside.
A few courses I have not played which have either been recommended or I'm interested in playing for the first time this year.
NJ - Ballamor/Scotland Run,
DE - Brandywine
Architects Golf Club - Also a serious ride away from our area, probably not a club date.
Twisted Dune - Sooner or later I'm going to have to play this one.
