A lot of times I do these little pre-round overviews to check out a new course and end up thinking it's a waste of time... Not this one! Wow...
This should be an interesting round, can't wait! I'll be VERY!! pleased to keep it under a hundred.
OK, so I played here... once! Kind of a sketchy layout. A few short easy holes mixed in with some very contorted and contrived 'hell' holes just to make it interesting. Didn't really suit my game very well and it's just a bit of a drive for me. Not sure I'll be back real soon.
One highlight of the round was this magnificent oak tree! Coming down the fairway and looking up at this beast, my jaw dropped...
Sure, it looks nice an wide open at the start... 1st Hole approach
But it gets tighter as you go... 4th hole approach
And gets downright difficult at the end... This is 18, the easiest of the last three holes!
