Fellow Phoenix Area #008 Club members - 

I wanted to setup a normal event for April 14th. This is not a tournament, just a friendly event to give members the chance to play with other club members.

General

  • Date: April 14th, 2012
  • Time: 7:39 / 7:48
  • Course: Papago
  • Players: Since this is a normal event, I will only setup 3 tee times (12 total players). The first 11 to respond will be able to play. If more than 12 sign-up by this Friday (4/6), then I will work with the selected course to set-up 4 tee times.

Registration

To register for this event, simply respond in the blog below and provide a course recommendation. Course will be selected by this Friday (4/6).

Hey everyone, wanted to provide an updated list of players for this Saturday. As of now, there is one spot available:

Also, just received an email from Papago and their rates dropped a little after today. Based on our tee time:

With City of Phoenix Card:
- Walking: $25
- Riding: $40

Without City of Phoenix Card:
- Walking: $33
- Riding: $48

Hey everyone - Starting tomorrow, we will open up any open spots for guests of confirmed players. At this time there are 2 spots available, and I will let everyone know how many are available tomorrow morning.

Also, I'm planning on walking the course. If anyone is also planning on walking, let me know so I can group the walkers together.

Pete, I unfortunately have to pull out of the Apr. 14th event. My son has a T-Ball event going on that day that I was unaware of. I'll happily pay any cancellation fees if there are any. My apologies.

Hey everyone, so here's a small update. I called both Papago and Aguila and wanted toget your feedback:

- Aguila has 2 tee times back-to-back at 6:25 / 6:33 (they have a tournament starting at 8)
- Papago has 2 tee times back-to-back at 7:39 / 7:48

Personally, I don't mind the early AM tee times, so I can do either, but want to get feedback from those that are confirmed. Let me know.

In! Papago or Aguila is good. Maryvale is OK too. Put Joe Colantro in as well. Can play high/ low? Closest to pins on par 3's or just have a good day.

I would love to play. I'd be in for either Papago or Anguila, as I haven't played either of them.
