Dear Nature Valley Amateur Participants,

After five successful seasons of the Nature Valley Amateur series, we regret to inform you that the series will not continue in 2012. A shift in strategy as it relates to the Nature Valley brand and golf has occurred and we will now be dedicating our resources towards The First Tee and title sponsorship of the Nature Valley First Tee Open. Sponsorship of The First Tee is a unique way for the brand to give back to the game of golf and also help positively impact the lives of young people.

We greatly appreciate your continued support throughout the past seasons. You truly helped the tournament series succeed and thrive. During the tenure of the series, we have been fortunate enough to get to know many of you and have thoroughly enjoyed hosting you at both the qualifiers and Championships.

Oh, well. If the Golf Channel Amateur played some in Tucson, I would join but all of the AZ events are in Phoenix.
