Get ready for our 2nd Annual Club Championship Tournament club to be held in November! Details for the event are as follows:
· Date: November 12th, 2011
· Time: 7:45 AM
· Course: Sun City Country Club
· Price: $50 (includes golf, cart, partial prize fund, & Country Buffet consisting of baked chicken, swiss steak, iced-tea and sides)
o Note: We have two sponsors who are going to sponsor part of the prizes, so this is helping minimize the cost per player. I’m trying to secure other sponsors, and if successful, the cost per player will decrease even more. Any refunds due will be given back to you at the event.
· Format: Individual net stroke play (see Format section below)

We had a total of 25 members participate, played on a great course, had amazing food, and I for one had a great time. I want to thank Arky for setting up the event at the course! What a great deal for this time of year, and what a great buffet lunch!! I also want to thank our sponsors: GreeniePlanet and KT Headcovers (see below for links to both sites). Their donations allowed us to increase our prize fund along with our giveaway fund. Please take a moment to check out their sites. Now, on to the winners! I'll start off with the two competitions: - Closest to the Pin: Henri Beckiel - Longest Putt: Josh Hoffner Now on to the top 3: - 3rd place: Jorge Mendevil (Webo) shot a Net Diff of 2.3 - 2nd Place: Troy Lees (troy lees) shot a Net Diff of 1.8 - 1st Place and our 2011 Club Champion: Andrew Foutz (andrew foutz) who shot a Net Diff of 0.3! 10/24/2011 4:22:00 PM Hey everyone! I wanted to give everyone an update on our club championship which will be held in just 3 weeks. As of now, we have 21 members who sent in their payments, with another 6 that stated their payments are on their way. If you sent me a check and I have not sent you either a confirmation email or responded with a confirmation under your RSVP comment in the event blog, please let me know and I can tell you for sure whether i have received your check or not. For everyone else, there is still time to sign up. Critical dates are as follows: - 10/31 - Last day checks will be accepted. Any payments made after this date WILL ONLY be accepted via PayPal. - 11/4 - Day I need to provide final counts to the the course. Counts will include ONLY those that sent in your pyment. If anyone wants to sign up to play after this date, I will first need to check with the course before allowing you to register. Again, at this time, payments will only be accepted via PayPal. - 11/9 - 4-somes, rules, and additional information will be posted on the event blog.
