8/17/2011 1:06:51 PM Are you serious!!!?? How can you compare the two? I think ppl needs to leave this guy alone and he will be fine by next yr. How many players are on the tour each week and they keep missing the cut? @Clay89 thank you for raising that pt. too...based on how Phil and the top 3players are playing as compared to TW they are underachieving, and not TW... |

8/15/2011 2:23:25 PM Definitely a huge dropoff going from all-time great golfer to average golfer. As far as rankings are concerned, I don't think Tiger will ever fall out of the top 100 (so long as he's healthy), because he's still been doing well at the Masters every year and will get ranking points that way. |

8/15/2011 1:09:18 PM I feel I hit some great shots, but the scoring wasn't there. SNORE is anybody sick of the lame excuse? I am. Please bury Tiger until he wins again or at least is competative. |

8/14/2011 8:28:27 PM I agree... I think we've heard the last of Tiger Woods... He has no one left he can depend on, that he trusts, or that really care about him anymore... except the Perkins waitresses and Hookers of course. |

8/12/2011 7:29:58 AM You cannot compare these two. David is lucky to make the cut each time. Tiger still can put himself in contention and finish in the top 5. Tiger still has not put himself with enough practice coming back from his injury. His swing coach has him swinging differently as well and that alone can take a couple of years to get it perfected by tigers likings! |

8/11/2011 10:51:46 PM Ouch! That's quite a statement and would be quite dramatic if it became true over the long haul, but I don't see it. It's true that some of Tiger's recent performances are comparable to Duval's drop off, but the circumstances are entirely different. Duval lost his drive to compete and became a stay at home dad--happily by his own admission. Tiger by all accounts is very committed to getting his game back. His drive to succeed is as strong as ever. Tiger's had physical problems compounded by personal failures and some questionable decisions during his comeback that may have actually delayed his progress, but clearly he's very committed to making his way back. Duval voluntarily removed himself. |

8/11/2011 9:57:50 PM I'm starting to learn that as I age I get a tad more sympathy for him and don't dislike him as much as I thought. There is absolutely no chance Tiger does anything like a Duval collapse. I've said it before and said it again. He will win tournaments again, and IMHO 2 more majors and finish at 16 2 shy of Jack. Also, I don't care who you are, if Tiger fell off the map like that it would hurt golf more than it would help it. Every Tiger Hater on the planet had a different feeling with 9 to go at Augusta this year than they did at this year's British, the 2010 PGA, and others without Tiger. Admit it, he makes it a ton more exciting! Love him or hate him, his Sunday presence is unlike anything else in golf today, and if we were denied that for the rest of our lives, the only word to describe it would be awful. |
