Today, I learned three lessons on the golf course. These lessons just kind of happened, as any lesson on the course should come.

1) Do not get away from your plan.

   - 3 wood was great, driver was 1/3.

   - Because of the driver, I had a couple of unforunate holes.

2) Play for safe, and keep a cool mind.

    - Got agressive on 18 and ended up turning a 4 or 5 into a 6. (Par 5)

3) Sand game, I hit one bunker, but what I accidentally did taught me something.

    - Fariway bunker inthe middle of the fairway on #9 is 60 yards out from the green. I wanted to hit a LW on the green from there in a full shot, but I caught a little sand. Catching that sand, taught me how to hit better bunker shots around the greens. Choke down until your bottom hand is on the end of the grip. Don't open the club, and hit it up to 15 yards, with about 5 or 6 feet elevation.

    - Yes, I was in a fairway bunker, but that taugh me a better way to get out of the sand with a higher flight. So, now I know how to have a higher flight, and a lower flight. The higher flight was because of a full swing. The lower flight is a half swing with the club face wide open.

These lesson will help me become what I want to me. I did 3 putt 3 times, but each of the 2nd putts were just pulled a little bit to miss left of the hole. Lessons are easy to come by, if you will pay attention.
