I've been playing Callaway Hot Bites for sometime and like their stopping ability on the green but I'm looking for something to bite a little harder.  I see most people playing the Pro V1 or Pro V1x and decided to pick some up online.  There are two kinds of Pro V1x balls - the new and the original.  I've heard the new ones have a softer cover for the pros to coincide with the new wedge rule.  I tend to push shots right or left so I steered away from the Pro V1 going with the Pro V1x with a little less spin.  Will the "Original" Pro V1x give me more stopping power on the green vs the Callaway Hot Bites and is there any other significant differences between the 2 Pro V1x balls?
