What do you all think about the Vancuver Hockey fans reponse to them losing the Stanley Cup last night.?....Going out afterwards and trashing their city????? I don't get it? It's a sport; you win some you lose some....Is all this violence neccassary? I never understood this; the stuff you hear about fans doing at soccer matches?....what happened last night? really? I'm not a Bruins fan by any means; and I actually hoped they would lose; but after the reaction last night; I'm glad those Canadian Fans didn't get to raise the cup....What do you think?

6/21/2011 8:01:46 PM They weren't VANCOUVER HOCKEY FANS. They were a small group of young hooligins that planned and went to the game equipped with gasoline and what ever necessary to start a riot. They do not in anyway represent a Vancouver (or Canadian) hockey fan. |

Come on......Sports should be a good thing; not this......It should be good for the economy of citys that have teams that do well; not cost them more $$$ because they have to increase security and impose curfews to try to defuse stuff like this......Imagine you own a bar in Boston; Bruins are in the cup and you are forced to close early because stuff like this happens......Not cool.... |

6/17/2011 7:08:51 AM People live vicariously through sports teams.......REALITY check, the outcome of any game is going to have NO EFFECT on the individual's life at all, accept the fact the team they love won or lost. Did they make more money NO, are they happier in the family life NO, did they get a big bonus NO, did the get a championship ring NO....NOTHING has really changed for them! These people are just out of control, period! |

6/16/2011 10:52:04 AM Didn't realize this until now, and like it's been said this is just stupid. Like you Scola I wanted anything but seeing Boston win and was really pulling for the Canucks. I think it's funny though how when Canada beat the USA in hockey last year in the Olympics which was also in Vancouver, when Canada won parades broke out everywhere. Now this. Vancouver fans need to grow a couple and suck it up. |
